Commercial Photography & Design Studio Brings It All Together
A L.A. success story, Klick Photography works with small and large businesses providing one-of-a-kind photographic experiences that bring out the exceptional qualities and brilliance of the product or subject.
The full-service studio based in Los Angeles, was established in 1987 by Yona Engel and Nadav Lanyado to deliver high-end photography to the retail, commercial, manufacturing and art sectors, as well as family portraiture, and more recently pet portraits. Unfortunately, the partnership was short-lived, ending in 1990 when Nadav was killed in a helicopter accident while filming a commercial in Oregon.
An early adopter of digital photography, Yona is known for his attention to detail and a keen understanding of how to set up a shoot that best showcases the object or subject being photographed. The studio offers clients the use of an in-house designer, make-up artist and set builder. Photographs created and designed in the studio and can be uploaded directly to client websites or catalogs.
Klick Photography’s client list spans the retail, food, fashion, healthcare, and jewelry industries, non-profits and community-based organizations,
La Brea Bakery • A&A Jewelry Supply • Mooradian Fine Art • Oran Inc • The Jewelry Factory • Vortex Multi Media • JT Ballroom Dance Studio • Beth Singer Design • Genome Cosmetics • Xera • Weiser Creative Group • Sydney Evan • SLG Stone • Oro Alexander Inc • Nachshon Minyan • Circle of Care • Marco Distributing Fireplace • Level Enterprises Inc • JCC Org • Gelin Abachi • David Tishbi • A-Line Media • My Rebe • Battlefield Fashion • Jerry’s Famous Deli • IBM Los Angeles Chapter • The Wellness Community • The Maple Center • Jewish Community Foundation • National News Vend • Wild Flour Pizza • Lee Tov • Pico Nut • and JB Food.
The success of the studio reflects Yona’s love of the arts, one he inherited as the son of a music teacher and a civil engineer, who enjoyed painting on the weekends. As a teenager, he fixed a broken Instamatic 110 camera, and became fascinated with the art of capturing images on film. Yona went on to study computer science at West LA College and Commercial Photography and Lighting at SMC
A L.A. success story, Klick Photography continues to maintain a stellar reputation in the industry, supporting its clients in all their photographic needs.
